Ryan’s enthusiasm and dedication to his craft is shown in the vast range of high quality metalwork which is undertaken at the forge.
Coming through the Coronavirus lockdown has given him the impetus to dedicate more time to Chain Bridge Forge and increase the tasters available and he will take on commissions. So if you have something that needs repairing or maybe a new item made, he is available to take on this work.
Ryan started Blacksmithing at school and followed it with an apprenticeship under the watchful eye of Bob Oakes at Cold Hanworth Forge North of Lincoln and completed his Blacksmith training at Hereford College. Ryan has taught Blacksmithing at Lincoln Castle and has produced everything from domestic ironwork to sculptures. He can also do specialist conservation work.
