At our historic living museum, we believe the art of blacksmithing is for everyone, regardless of age or skill level. This is why we are delighted to announce that this August we are offering FREE Blacksmithing Taster sessions to both Adults and Children!
Our experienced blacksmith will be guiding you through the process of how to make a coat hook, hear or key ring – what a great offer, and it’s all FREE! We want to give all ages a taste of how amazing this skill really is, and what’s better is you can take your creation home with you.
These sessions are designed to be fun and accessible for all. Are you a curious kid looking for a unique summer holiday experience or an adult seeking a new hobby? Our free blacksmithing sessions are the perfect way to ignite your creativity and connect with others who share your passion for metalworking.

Please note these sessions are great value for such a unique experience which means they are selling fast, and some may have already been booked.
As our sessions are physically and mentally demanding, we recommend only 1hr duration activity, and children are accompanied by an adult on the Friday sessions.
